1. What This Page Covers
Adverka can send WhatsApp messages on your behalf through the WhatsApp Business Platform. Doing so means Meta passes us information about those messages, which we store against your workspace. This page explains how to have that information deleted, what is removed, what we are required to keep, and how long it takes.
If you want to delete your entire Adverka account rather than this data, see Your Rights in our Privacy Policy, or write to us using the address below.
2. How to Request Deletion
Email support@adverka.com from the address on your account, telling us which workspace the request relates to. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting, so that nobody else can request deletion on your behalf.
If you have removed Adverka from your Meta account or business settings, that revokes our access at Meta's end. Email us as well if you also want the information we already hold to be deleted — removing the app at Meta does not by itself erase our records.
3. What We Delete
Adverka sends WhatsApp messages through its own WhatsApp Business Account, so we do not hold Meta login credentials or Meta account identifiers belonging to you. The Meta-sourced information we do hold, and delete on request, is:
- •Message identifiers: The identifiers Meta assigns to each WhatsApp message we sent for you.
- •Delivery and engagement events: Records of whether each message was sent, delivered, read or failed.
- •Replies: The content of replies your recipients sent back, and the record of which message they were replying to.
- •Message template records: The identifiers and review outcomes Meta returned for message templates created from your workspace.
- •Recipient contact details: Phone numbers and contact records held in your workspace for WhatsApp messaging, on request.
4. What We Keep, and Why
Some information is retained where we have a legal or legitimate operational reason to keep it. We keep only what is necessary, and only for as long as the applicable retention period requires.
- •Billing and financial records: Invoices, payments and message-cost records, retained for tax, accounting and audit obligations.
- •Security and audit logs: Records of significant actions taken in your workspace, retained to investigate security incidents and to demonstrate compliance.
- •Fraud and abuse prevention records: Information needed to detect and prevent misuse of the Platform.
- •Record of the deletion itself: A record that the request was made and completed, so that we can demonstrate it was honoured.
5. This Is Not Account Deletion
Deleting WhatsApp and Meta-related information does not delete your Adverka account. Unless you ask us to do that as well:
- • Your Adverka account and workspace continue to exist.
- • Your leads, pipeline and content are untouched.
- • Your email campaigns keep running.
- • Other connected services, such as your email provider, are unaffected.
We also cannot delete anything that belongs to you on Meta. Your Meta account, any WhatsApp Business Account, phone number or message templates you own are managed from your own Meta settings.
6. How Your Request Is Processed
- •Acknowledged: We reply to confirm we received your request, normally within one business day.
- •Verified: We confirm the request came from someone entitled to make it. This may mean replying from the email address on the account, or confirming details of the workspace.
- •Processed: We delete the information described above.
- •Confirmed: We email you to confirm the deletion is complete, and tell you if anything was retained under section 4.
We complete deletion requests within 30 days, and in practice far sooner. If a request cannot be completed, we will tell you why.
